How it Works
Tutors will use online communication platforms such as Zoom, Google Meets/others to hold weekly one on one tutoring sessions (one or more). The dates, times and longevity of these sessions will be decided between the student and the tutor and both parties will decide the platforms and methods to be used. We tutor grades 1-12 and tutors are expected to at least be in high school.

Once decided, tutors let us know the start date of the tutoring period and when the tutoring sessions are conducted per week. This allows us to provide our regular feedback forms to ensure that both the tutor and student are satisfied with their progress and to provide extra support if needed.

Tutors will receive their volunteer hours with an official signed volunteer recognition sheet by our founder and the parent of the student at the end of the tutoring period for each student. Should the tutor have more than one student, volunteer hours will be awarded for the hours spent with each student.

There is a minimum commitment of 2 months but if more time is needed, this can be discussed between the student and the tutor.
